Helping Autistic and ADHD Entrepreneurs Grow Their Business WITHOUT Burning Out

Before I joined the SBB programme I was a little lost...something was wrong with my life: I no longer enjoyed my career and I had no clear idea of what I wanted next.

For me the connection to a remarkable group of ND creatives and business owners was tremendously valuable. For the first time I could exchange with a group of wonderful people, all of whom were struggling with similar challenges. I was not alone!

The weekly calls were also transformative: I really appreciate Sam's direct and incisive guidance, which frequently and rapidly guided us to the core of those issues which troubled us. I also loved the "no apologising" rule of the group.

Sam has created a carefully structured curriculum which guided me to deeper insights about myself and my environment. I am in a different and much more hopeful place now.

Before the beginning of the program I was a relatively fresh diagnosed autistic adult on the verge of burnout and with a very vague sense of the power and importance working with other neurodivergent people.

During the weeks of the program, I learned so much from Sam about understanding my own needs, my sensory profile and how to take these into account when planning my work week.

How to deal with perfectionism and masking in a business context and how to identify and take care of stressful/overwhelming situations and plan time for recovery afterwards.

At the same time I was getting to know the other group members and I felt the thrill of being supported by other neurodivergent people for the first time in my life – and also learned that we so often struggle with the exact same things in our businesses as well as our daily lives.

Before I started the twelve-week course, I was chronically overworked and burnt out. Although I knew I had to make changes, I didn’t know where to start.

However, the course material and exchanges with others helped me to get started and get different perspectives on my situation. I felt like I could always talk to someone to sort out my thoughts and feelings.

Over the twelve weeks, I started to declutter my professional work and create more breathing room to honor my needs and the projects that I take on. With that, I believe that I will deliver the best quality while working in a sustainable and healthy way.

Of course, there is still a long way to go, but Sam helped me find that way and take the first steps. Thank you for that!
