About
I am Sam, autistic advocate and late diagnosed autistic adult. After the birth of my child, I found myself noticing my “quirks” had started to intensify, and it was only when I learned about how autism can present in women that I went down the research rabbit hole that would eventually lead to an autism diagnosis.
I decided to tell my story on YouTube. Armed with a camera and a lifetime of autistic experiences to work through and make sense of, my channel started out as a way of figuring out who I was after my diagnosis.
As my channel grew and grew, I realised that there are many people out there just like me – a little lost, feeling perpetually “in the wrong place”, and like you were off the day they handed out the rulebook for life.
My educational background is in Psychology (University of York), and I have a Masters in the Sociology and Anthropology of Contemporary Religion (Kings College London).
Things I will gladly talk about for hours if you get me started: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, languages, LCHF lifestyle, travel. Oh and YouTube analytics.
